Marangu
DAY 1:
Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Marangu Gate where you will start
the ascent to Mandara Hut. Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.
DAY 2:
After breakfast trek to Horombo Hut. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
DAY 3:
Leave Horombo after breakfast and trek to Kibo Hut. Lunch, dinner and
overnight at Kibo Hut.
DAY 4:
Early start to the summit, Uhuru Peak, then descend slowly to Horombo
Hut. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
DAY 5:
Trek further down from Horombo Hut to Marangu gate then proceed to
Arusha.

7 Days
Machame | Mweka Trek
DAY
1: 6 HOURS WALK
Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Machame
Gate. Walk through the forest to Machame Hut (3,000 m) in about 6 hours.
DAY 2: 4 HOURS WALK
Trek after breakfast across the valley and continue along the steep
ridge, past the Giant Heather and into a river gorge to reach the Shira Hut
at 3,800m.
DAY 3:
A full day is spent at Shira Hut acclimatizing for the higher altitude.
DAY 4: 6 HOURS WALK
We proceed east towards Kibo, then continue
towards the Lava Tower. After the tower we go up to Arrow glacier at 4876 m
before descending to Barranco Hut at 3,860 m for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: 8 HOURS WALK
After breakfast we continue on a steep ridge past the Barranco Wall,
through the Karanga Valley to Barafu Hut at 4,600m. The two peaks of Mawenzi
and Kibo can clearly be seen from this position. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 6: 11 HOURS WALK
Early morning ascent to Stella Point (5,745) on
our way to the Summit (Uhuru peak, 5,895 m) which we reach after about 6
hours pre-sunrise trek. We watch the sun rise from the highest point on Mt.
Kilimanjaro. We then begin our descent which takes about 5 hours. The route
is steep but picturesque. Dinner and a well-earned sleep at Mweka Hut (3,100
m).
DAY 7:
After breakfast leave Mweka Hut and descend to Mweka Gate for transfer
back to Arusha.

- English Speaking Kilimanjaro Guide with many successful summit climbs;
- Assistant guide with over 100 successful summit climbs;( we provide the
second guide for 2 climbers or more )
-Porters: Average of 3 porters per climber - depending on the size of the
group;
- Porters to carry climber baggage - maximum baggage allowance is 15kgs per
climber
- Porters to carry foodstuff
- Porters to carry camp, dinning equipment
- 3 meals a day whilst in Kilimanjaro Park
- boiled drinking water is provided.
- Our cook prepares your delicious and excellent meals.
- All Accommodation in mountain tent
- A mountain 3-person-tent normally used for 2 or 3 persons maximum;
- Shared vehicle return transfers from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Park
Entrance.
- Kilimanjaro National Park Fees: Entry, Rescue and Huts Fees

SOME INFORMATION:
- Kilimanjaro Climbing Permit : Subject to availability on request or
confirmation
- Cooks : We use our Trained Cook/s who prepare delicious meals for mountain
fitness.
- Equipment : We use our camping equipment and mountain chairs on all camping
routes.
- Recommended Equipment List shall be provided on booking.
-Travel and medical insurance : We highly recommend clients to be covered by
travel and personal medical insurance, incase of any injury,
illness, and loss of property etc.
- NOTE: Medicals insurance should cover any rescue required from the Park Exit,
to a hospital plus medication costs etc. However, its advisable
to have about cash USd 50pp which may be required for registering at a hospital
and thereafter included in your medical insurance claim.
